Infographic: Southern Bulbs

I finished my first infographic today.  This was fun to make.  It’s been ruminating in my mind for about three weeks now and has been through help with my professor twice.  A special shout out to Professor Ward!

I like the way the infographic flows.  I chose to be daring in my design this time and follow Prof. Ward’s lessons on having an image bleed into a border.  Be bold, designers!  Don’t make Robin Williams call you a wimp!

If you’ll notice, the daffodils in the middle graphic go at a diagonal.  I did this for a reason.  They point downward toward the next item the viewer is encouraged to look at.  It keeps the flow going.  Personally, I like how the graphics kind of swoop around in a sort of semicircle.

All of this was my idea!  For once!  (except for the (FAR) left alignment of the flower and the centering of the sun – I guess I still need work on alignment)  I’m so proud!

There’s really nothing more to say.  This is the best thing I have ever created or designed to this date!

  1. Wow that was unusual. I just wrote an incredibly long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t show up. Grrrr… well I’m not writing all that over again. Anyway, just wanted to say superb blog!
