While looking for a job, I am volunteering at the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins. I started with 1 project that ended up becoming 2 videos. The Director of Education wanted me to create commercials for 2 summer camps that were running low on numbers: the Around the World and Grossology camps.
I feel like I exercised my creativity and was less restricted than I was during the school semester. I did everything I wanted to do on these and didn’t hold back due to time restraints formerly imposed by school. 🙂
One notable accomplishment for me is the fact that I created flashes, like from a still camera, by using the
lens flare effect in Adobe Premiere Pro for the Around the World Video. I also created graphics to my heart’s content for this video – something that would have been restricted time wise during the semester.
The Grossology video reminds me of Bill Nye the Science Guy at the beginning with the closeup of the mouth. This video was geared toward middle schoolers, so I had to make it attention grabbing. Middle schoolers are always drawing attention to gross things, so have a gross commercial is a good way to attract them!
